LLUÍS VILÀ 
(Banyoles, Girona, Spain, 1952) 

A painter, sculptor and designer, he was awarded grants by both the Generalitat de Catalunya in 1985 and Ciutat d'Olot in 1986. He has carried out ephemeral systems and activities in different cities. He has presented systems, among others, at Fundació Joan Miró de Barcelona (1984), at the Main Exhibition Hall of Fundació "La Caixa", Barcelona (1985), at Col.legi d'Arquitectes de Girona (1986) and at the hall "Els Transformadors" in Barcelona City Hall (1986). He has had a number of public sculptures set up. He participated in the Spanish Pavilion during "Expo '92" in Seville. His work has been exhibited both individually and collectively in many important displays.
